Bryan T. Curry, 55 of Washington and formerly of Gaylord, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 surrounded by his family in Phoenix, AZ. Born in Patuxent River, Maryland on December 2, 1966, he was the son of Lee and Janis Curry. 

In 1985, Bryan graduated from Gaylord High School. Shortly after, he went into the United States Navy proudly serving his Country until 1992. Soon after he was discharged he and his wife moved back to Gaylord. He worked in the oil industry for a few years. He went back to serve his country by joining the Navy Reserves until 2005. In 1997 Bryan and his wife returned to The Seattle, Washington area. He worked at Sunbelt Rentals as a mechanic until his retirement. He loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, camping, traveling, and woodworking.

On December 11, 1988, Bryan married Wendy Martinez who survives. Also surviving are his two children, Steven (Cassi) and Thomas (Jessica); grandchildren, Charity,  Skyla, Taiyah, and Harper; parents, Lee and Linda Curry; brothers and sisters, Kevin Curry, Kristopher (Liz) Curry, Karalynne Curry, Karla (Jared) Weimer and Kendra (Christopher) Piehl; nieces and nephews, Allison, Rebecca, Alexander, Bradley, Aron, Aubrey, Avery, Colt, Wyatt, Lane, Adam, Melissa, Leisha (Jeremy), and Amy (Joey). Also surviving is sister-in-law, Kelly (Steve) Anderson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janis Curry.

The Memorial Service is scheduled for 12 P.M. , Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Ralph Holowinski VFW Pavillion, 1905 S. Otsego Ave., Gaylord, MI, 49735.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to zerocancer.org.
