Brian James Galac, 58 of Mio, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.
Born in Detroit on January 13, 1963, he was the son of Joseph and Joanne (Foster) Galac.
Brian was the proud owner of JB Fosters & Daughters Plumbing. He dedicated his life to his family who will remember him as “Daddy Dearest” who gave big teddy bear hugs. With a love of people and animals, he cared for all things on earth, big and small.
Brian is survived by his wife, Janeen; daughters, Cheri Gurnow, Nissa (Matthew) Wilson, Janae Fournier, Shannon (Michael) Van Belle and Brianne Galac. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Na Tasha Fournier.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Joshua, Joseph, Savannah, Kyndra, Mariah, Kyrstin, Nicholas, Skylar, Aubrey, Claire, Remi and Buddy; his siblings, Michael Galac Sr and Rebecca (Jim) Stroup; nieces and nephews, Michael Galac Jr, Katie Kuhn, Michael (Kelly) Miller, Justin Miller, Matthew Miller and Cassie Galac; great nieces and nephews, Channing, Lailani, Savannah, Alex, Ryan, Evyn, Daxton, Dominic, DeAngelo and Jasmine and his beloved pets Carley, Taz and Scarlet.
He has now been rejoined with his grandmother, Evelyn Foster.
Arrangements for a celebration of Brian’s life are pending and will follow later.
