Brenda M. Eskridge

Brenda M. Sparks Eskridge, 54 of Holiday, Florida passed away at home on Sunday, April 1, 2018.

Born in Saginaw, Michigan on July 12, 1963 in Saginaw, the daughter of Donald and Grace (Sackrider) Sparks.  She was raised in Bay City where she attended school.  Later she moved to Indiana and Tennessee before settling in Florida the last 20 years.  In Florida, she worked several years at Wendy’s.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Amanda Sparks of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Savanna, Amy, Tiara, Isabelle, Junior and Trey; her mother, Grace Colpean of Bay City; sisters, Brande Sparks and Tina Anderson of Bay City and Sharon (Al) Gingerick of Wolverine; her grandmother, Neva Sackrider of Wolverine; aunts, Rose (Richard) Henderson of Saginaw, Loretta (Bob) McCormick of Brimley, Lorraine (Richard) Brown and Shirley Brosco all of Sault Ste. Marie; her special aunt, Sharon McShane of Bay City; an uncle, John Sparks of Sault Ste. Marie; several nieces, nephews and cousins and her beloved dogs, Joe and Max.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Sparks; her dad James Colpean; grandparents, Tom Sackrider, Edward and May Sparks and Harold and Louise Colpean; aunts, Thelma Parkman and Sally Riethmier and uncles, Bud Sparks and Bill Sparks.

Brenda’s family will visit with friends from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service where funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2018.  Interment will be at Silver Lake Cemetery in Wolverine.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the charity of your choice.
