Barry Jensen

Barry Jensen, 60 of Gaylord, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey.

Born in Gaylord, he was the son of Bill and Beverly (Simmons) Jensen.

Barry worked for over 40 years in the oil fields.  In his spare time he was an avid hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Kathy; four sons, Chris (Beth) Jensen of Cambridge, MN, Charles Jensen of Gaylord, Chad (Emily) Jensen of Cedar Springs and Curtis (Mary) Jensen of Fort Sill, OK; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Brett (Ross) Jensen of Gaylord, Brad (Sandra) Jensen of Alexandria, IN and Brian Jensen of Texas; a sister, Becky Phillips of Gaylord; many nieces and nephews, including his “favorite nieces” Carrie and Onda; and his two best friends, Tom Boyce and Fred Boyce.
