Barbara E Hendricks

Barbara E. Hendricks, 58 of Gaylord, died at home surrounded by her family on Monday, September 23, 2013. Born in Detroit on March 19, 1955, Barbara was the daughter of Curtis and Verla (Compton) Crum. She lived for a time in Kentucky before returning to Detroit and later moving to Gaylord in 1990. She enjoyed following area emergency services on her scanner and spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her fiancee, Wilson Wilson of Gaylord; a daughter, Diane (James) Garner of Waterford; sons James Hendricks of Grayling and Thomas Hendricks of St. Louis; grandchildren, Jessica and Jasmine Garner and Brandon, Tiffany and Randy Hendricks; and sisters Patricia (Darrell) Buckner of Lincoln Park, Marsha Tackett of Grayling and Shella (Tom) Curly of New Orleans, LA. As were Barbara’s wishes she will be remembered privately by her family. Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home.
