Audrey M. Thomas

Audrey M. Thomas, 94 of Johannesburg, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at Otsego Memorial Hospital.

Born on June 4, 1921 in Vanceburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Ithel and Dolly Evans.

Audrey married Dewey when she was 15 years old and quickly after, they moved to Johannesburg where they raised their 5 sons. She loved flowers, being with her family and most of all, with all of her heart she loved the Lord.

She is survived by 5 sons, William, Kenneth (Linda), Delbert (Linda), Dewey Jr (Diane) and Alan Thomas all of Johannesburg; 3 brothers, Herbert Evans of Cincinnati, OH, William Evans of Vanceburg, KY and Ray Evans of Lucasville, OH; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dewey in 2008, brothers, Gene, Frank, Donald, Gordon, Kenneth and Ralph Evans; sister, Loveda Griffith and daughter-in-law, Janice Thomas.
