Ashley R. (Lube) Hawthorne

Ashley R. Hawthorne, 31 of Gaylord, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. She was born in Munster, Indiana on November 7, 1986, the daughter of Michael and Lisa (Freund) Lube.

In 2004, Ashley graduated from Gaylord High School. She attended North Central Michigan College and Kirtland Community College where she obtained her bachelor degree as a Registered Nurse. Anything Ashley put her mind to, she would make it happen. She worked as the Care Solutions Manager at InTeliCare Health Services in Gaylord. She was a hard worker, organized, driven, meticulous, outgoing, fun and a friend to anyone. She had a heart of gold and truly enjoyed taking care of others. She was the glue that brought many together. She had a gift to make anyone feel special and needed. Ashley’s greatest pride and joy in life were her two children and her husband. They were her world.

She is survived by Timothy, her loving husband of 11 years; her children, Trae (9) and Alana (5); mother, Lisa (Willy) Marsh of Vanderbilt; father, Michael Lube of Illinois; brother and sisters, Mikey Lube of Gaylord, April Lube of North Fort Myers, FL and Amber Lube of Gaylord; grandmothers, Ruthanne Freund of Gaylord and Sandra Romero of Hammond, IN; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Small of Goodyear, AZ; brother-in-law, Roy Hawthorne of Akron, OH; nieces, Allison, Emma, Lucy, Kendall, Asia and Alyssa; nephews, Eli, Ranger, Cash, Devon and Braelynn; many cousins and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ken Freund and Michael Lube; her father-in-law, Richard Small and her cousin, Laura Lube.

Visitation will take place from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, June 25, 2018 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A memorial service will take place 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Gaylord where the family will visit with friends beginning at 10:00 AM.
