Arline C. Dwyer

Arline C. Dwyer, 92 of Gaylord and Waterbury, CT, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at The Brook in Grayling. Born in Waterbury, CT on December 11, 1921, she was the daughter of Roger and Christina (Allen) Connor.

She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury. On February 15, 1947 Arline married James T. Dwyer Jr. in Waterbury. She worked for many years at Southern New England Telephone Company as a secretary. In retirement, Arline and her husband spent summers in Biddeford Pool, ME and winters in Barefoot Bay, FL. In Gaylord, she attended St. Mary Cathedral. She was a parishioner at Sacred Heart and Immaculate Conception in Waterbury, CT and St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Barefoot Bay, FL. In her spare time, Arline enjoyed reading and playing golf.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James T. Dwyer Jr. and a son, James T. Dwyer III. Surviving are her children, Robert Dwyer (Janice) of Waterbury, CT and Mary Dwyer-Gerdeman (Ken) of Gaylord, MI; her daughter-in-law, Elvira Dwyer of Salem, CT; grandchildren, G. Michael Rebmann of Birmingham, AL; Joshua T. Rebmann (LeAnne Walker) of Mt. Pleasant, MI; Killeen Dwyer (John Haynes) of Lebanon, CT; Erin Dwyer (Robert Elquist) of Thomaston, CT; Erika Dwyer (Jeremy Marcel) of Salem, CT; Robert Dwyer of Waterbury, CT and great grandchildren, Charles Billington and Jude Marcel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in the chapel at St. Mary Cathedral, 606 North Ohio St. in Gaylord. A celebration of her life in Waterbury, CT will be forth coming.
