Anne Kay Meehan

Anne Kay Meehan, 56 of Gaylord, passed away at home on Monday, May 28, 2018.

Anne was born on September 14, 1961 in Ypsilanti.  She moved to Gaylord in 1977 and was a graduate of Gaylord High School.

Anne worked in Gaylord for several years as a nurse aide at Tendercare and also at several retail stores in the area.  She was very devoted to her family, especially enjoying spending time with her grandchildren.  Anne enjoyed crocheting and other crafts, tending to her flower and vegetable gardens and just about anything outdoors.

On July 10, 1994 she married Dennis M. Meehan in Gaylord.  In addition to her husband, Anne is survived by her children, April (Don) DePew and Randall (Jennifer) Fox both of Gaylord; grandchildren, Zander and Bryson; her father and stepmother, Rocky and Ann Wright of Gaylord and her mother, Shirley A. Truxal of Belleville.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday,June 6, 2018 at Friendship Church where the family will visit with friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Hallock Cemetery.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
