Anne E. O'Connor

Anne Elizabeth O’Connor died on January 28, 2020. Anne was born December 1, 1931 in Fairfield,
Connecticut to Marion and Harold Savard.

Anne married Dalton A. (Tony) in Fairfield on November 15, 1952. They settled in Ft Wayne, Indiana and
raised Ashley (Louisville, CO), Dalton (Aspen, CO), Richard (Seattle, WA) and Michael (Chicago, IL). The
family vacationed in Harbor Springs, where Tony’s family had maintained a home since the 1930s. Anne
and Tony retired to the area in the 1970s.

Anne is pre-deceased by her husband and her son Dalton. She is survived by her other children, two
granddaughters and a great grandson, as well as extended family.

Anne was an avid reader and passionate about history, art, travel and bridge. She was the life of the
party and loved to meet and talk to people wherever she went. She was an active volunteer throughout
her adult life and especially enjoyed the work she did for many years at McLaren Northern Michigan
Hospital.

Anne’s friends and family will miss her vivacious personality, ready laugh and great stories.
A mass and memorial is being planned for summer 2020 in Harbor Springs.
