Allen J. Beemus Jr.

Allen J. Beemus Jr, 32 of Gaylord, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Born in Pontiac, MI on September 28, 1985, Allen is the son of Allen J. Beemus and Leandra Murphy.  He was raised in Clarkston, MI until he was about eight years old, then moving to Gaylord with his mom.  Allen was a graduate of Gaylord High School.

For several years he enjoyed participating in Special Olympics.  He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and an enthusiastic collector of DVD movies.

Allen is survived by his parents, Leandra Murphy of Clearwater, FL and Allen J. (Cheryl) Beemus of Howell; sisters, Kendra (Seno) Ribic of Wimauma, FL and Courtney Boadway of Clearwater, FL; brothers, Kyle Beemus of Howell and Robert Boadway III of Clearwater, FL; and his maternal grandparents, John and Norma Murphy of Gaylord.

Allen’s family will gather to visit with friends from 4:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions in his memory to Challenge Mountain, P.O. Box 764, Boyne City, MI  49712.
