Lillian M. Hogue, 79 of Topinabee, a devoted mother to her 10 children, died on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey. Born on February 17, 1934 in Dimondale, she was the daughter of Howard and Bessie (Albaugh) Bott. A resident of Topinabee earlier in her life, she later returned and had been a resident for more than 20 years. Lillian worked as a driver for several delivery services and for meals on wheels for several years. She was an avid quilter and seamstress, enjoyed sewing, gardening, family genealogy and astrology. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Lillian was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Small and granddaughters Christina Dudley and Grace Small. Surviving are her children, Betty (Mike) Kerzka of Petoskey, Sherry (Lew) Indreginal of Wolverine, Bonnie Sleight of Petoskey, Jesse (Lori) Small of Unionville, TN, Rick (Sherri) Small of Six Lakes, Tracy (Margaret Hoffman) Small of Topinabee, Deborah Withey of Mackinaw City, Tim (Linda Meyers) Small of Topinabee and Jim (Roxanne Armock) Hogue of Topinabee; 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Graveside services for Lillian will be held later at Burt-Mullet Lake Cemetery.
